That's Kotaro in the back row drinking a cup of water he was the tallest one on the team but he isn't much taller than me and I am not very tall. Believe it or not, I can name most of the boys on the team. I became friends with alot of them.

.

After the game. I gave Kotaro the Monroeville soccer jersey I was wearing, for it would be the last time I ever wore it since our team has new uniforms.

The Japan team came ready to play. Soccer is a very big sport in Japan. The team that came over was an all star team from Omiya, a suburb of Tokyo. Their coach made them work really hard at practic. They were really a good team and they knew how to play soccer – much better than any team from around here. They would shoot as soon as they got to the 18 and then they played defense. They were very quick with good foot skills.

Achilles Vassilicos the coach for PFC put together a nice soccer tournament called the Sister Cities Summer Shootout at Yoest Fields in North Park, The event got a write-up in the Post Gazzete with a picture of Harugi in it, All the soccer moms and dads came to see the exhibition the Japanese team put on everyone was quite impressed with their skills. After the tournament there were closing ceremonies the winning teams (Japan) got trophies and alot of applause. It was a great day for PA West soccer.
